Happy New Year!

Slowly picking up traffic!
My first humble posting was on July 20, 2005, so the blog is still not half a year old.
Peak traffic to this blog occurred in September. There were two reasons; First, I wrote a posting on Hugh Hewitt, who himself linked to me in one of his articles, MSM Induced Hysteria. This led to some interesting correspondence and encouragement from American readers, and eventually to my decision to let most postings be in English. Second, my vacation blogging in Malta drew attention from an official Malta website, the news and webcasting site Malta Media.
That was encouraging!
Traffic statistics for other months show a slow, but steady, increase, though not yet near my September figures.
This is both good and bad. Well, zero comments is bad. I am happy though that there is no sign of the senselessly inflammatory and abusive comment wars, which have caused the collapse of the comments function in many other blogs.
Just to make sure I am clear about this; The comments function is open, and I do appreciate constructive comments. You would be required to submit your e-mail address, but that will not be shown to others than me.
Right now, the comments forum is not moderated - with one caveat: Certain conditions in the comment may trigger the anti-spam function to keep the comment in the moderation queue for me to approve. Most ordinary text comments would pass though. There is no heavy spam-traffic either, so I am not overloaded with moderation work.
Even comments on my (ab)use of the English (or Swedish) language is most welcome, preferrably though through the contact address.
If you are happy just reading, I hope you will continue!
A Happy New 2006!
I will continue to strive for ever higher readability and quality of my texts, and hope you will find Non Serviam an interesting place to visit now and then.
My best wishes for the New Year to my so far small circle of readers!
