Finally a hotel with a good broadband network! Camelot at Cathedral Sq. smack in the centre of Christchurch!

That’s the upside.

The downside is that my credit card is no good for cash withdrawals anymore :-(
That is the kind of hassle you do not want to encounter when you are as far from home as you can possibly be.

Anyway, this is the most English town I have come across in NZ so far.

Tomorrow I’ll be the early bird to catch the scenic train to Greymouth.

Tuesday onwards to Queenstown.

There will be a beer update next… but first sleep and a train ride!
